Upcoming Courses
Starting June 15, every Monday and Tuesday for 6 weeks, this course will describe the basics of permaculture and how to monetize your activities. It will be both lecture and hands on experiences. An optional internship on Wednesday and/or Thursday to complete further assignments is available.
This course is the standard 72-hour Permaculture Design Certificate course established by the permaculture originators. It has been adapted to be South Florida specific. We plan to teach the next course starting in January 2027.

Permaculture Design Certification
Winter 2026
Our PDC course for 2026 has started. If you are interested in attending next year, please get in touch via the request more info button. This is a 12 week, 72 hour course that results in a Permaculture Design Certificate. We anticipate offering it again either later in the year or early next year. Classroom sessions are 4-7 pm on Friday afternoon and field trips are 9-12 am on Saturday. Topics include Florida Geology, Water, Soil, Earthworks, Design Basics, Food Forest Design, Trees, Plants, Herbal Remedies, Beneficial Animals, and Social Permiculture. You will be expected to attend at least 80% of the sessions and present your final site design in order to receive a certificate.
Volunteer and mentoring opportunities are available throughout your experience to connect with and learn from local regenerative practitioners while contributing to a greater story of communal reciprocity in our place.
